BioGRASS EXTRA Lab Test Results

Different analyses performed by credited laboratories have confirmed the breakdown of hydrocarbons, as well as the reduction of heavy metals and volatile organics after being treated with BioGRASS EXTRA.

Breakdown of Analysis

Total Hydrocarbon Reduction

  • Analysis performed by Alamo analytical laboratories using Gas Chromatography, or GC-FID, was used to test the total amount of hydrocarbons present in a sample. The samples tested were a sample of a drill cutting treated with BioGRASS EXTRA and a sample of crude oil mixed with BioGRASS EXTRA was then analyzed under varying conditions. Through this analysis, you can see that hydrocarbon concentration, i.e. oil, was greatly reduced after being treated with BioGRASS EXTRA. Additionally, the reductions in hydrocarbon concentrations (ppm) in samples from pre to post-treatment can clearly be seen in the chart below.

Heavy Metal Reduction

  • In another analysis performed by Alamo Analytical Laboratories, the heavy metal content in a sample of well cutting at a certain depth was tested using an ICP, Inductively Coupled Plasma spectroscopy. In this analysis, you can see how pre and post well samples vary greatly in heavy metal content when treated with BioGRASS EXTRA. 

Reduction of Volatile Organics present with BioGRASS EXTRA

  • Furthermore in another analysis done by Alamo Analytical Laboratories the amount of volatile organics present pre and post-treatment with BioGRASS EXTRA was determined using Gas chromatography, GC-MS. The chart below only shows some of the most common volatile organics that are present within the sample matrix and the reduction of such chemicals after treatment with BioGRASS EXTRA.
